Profession: Screenwriter, but my 1040 tax form says Electrical Engineer.

Professional Background: Started writing screenplays in 1985. Currently I have only finished the "Block Parent" screenplay, but I am working on my next one.

Favorite Memories of the Filming: #1: The level of excitement generated whenever Thomas said "Roll Camera" and "Action". #2: My son and his friend getting pieces of the front door (that was axed by the Cowboy) signed by all of the cast and crew. #3: The smashing of the upstairs double paned window with the claw.

Short Term Film Making Goals: Finish a PG-13 science fiction screenplay.

Long Term Film Making Goals: #1: Shake Roger Ebert's hand. #2: Have a business lunch with Tom Hank. #3: Write a screenplay for a movie that stars Michael Biehn.

Film Comments: #1: The radio and TV newscasts in the 1968 film "Night of the Living Dead" define the gold standard in writing. They are totally convincing. #2: The 1988 French-Dutch film "The Vanishing" left me shaken for at least a week after I saw it. #3: Christopher Lloyd gives one of the wildest, surreal, inspirational speeches I have ever heard in the 1988 film "Track 29".
