The trailer was shot with 16mm film, and the filming took place on July 24th, July 25th, July 31st, and August 1st of 1999. The filming was at my home in San Jose (the Rose Garden neighborhood), and at the surrounding neighbors' houses and yards.

I knew that colleges had video production classes, and I wanted to get a student to direct a promotional trailer for my screenplay. San Jose State University was chosen because I wanted to keep the production in the city I live in. Both Bob Jenkins, the Chairman of the Theater Arts department at San Jose State University, and Babak Sarrafan, the Video Production Professor, were receptive to my idea. The proposal was passed along to some of the students and graduates.

One of the recent graduates, Thomas Nores, accepted the job as the producer and director. Thomas assembled the cast (10 people) and crew (17 people) for the shoot.

The trailer is available in videotape format.
